is excited about the kickoff of our inaugural
VIRTUAL 5K Race!
What is a Virtual Race & how long is a 5K?
A virtual 5k is a 3.1-mile race which can be done at your own pace and on your own time. The 3.1 miles can be completed in a variety of ways and whatever works best for your physical ability. This inaugural 5K Virtual Race will kick off at the 2022 National Caucus in Washington, D.C., and the Finish Line will take place at the 2023 National Caucus in D.C., in 2023.
Start Line: National Caucus - June 30, 2020
Finish Line: NSDOAF National Caucus 2023
Go at your own pace
Options to complete the race:
Run | Walk | Bike | Treadmill | Swim | Zumba | Anything!
What you need to complete the race:
Smart phone | walking app | FitBit or Garmin | or a basic pedometer
How to qualify for your Finisher Medal:
Once you have completed your 5K, submit your total miles by taking a picture of your walking app, FitBit or other pedometer tracker that shows your total miles.

(Plus, online transaction fee of 2.9% + 0.60)
Proceeds go to the NSDOAF Scholarship Fund!
