About this Scholarship:
Since its founding in 2019, the National Society Descendants of American Farmers have awarded over 136,000.00 in agriculture scholarships.

Scholarship is specific to higher education students majoring in an agricultural field of study

Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
-
A written essay is required (topic will be given)

A personal interview may be required

Students may reapply each year that they are in school

Deadline date to apply is June 20th for the Fall semester and November 15th for the Spring semester each year.

All applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time, on the respective deadline date.

Funds are paid directly to the accredited institution and not to the individual

This scholarship may be accepted in addition to other awards

Students can be part-time or full-time through each semester/quarter

Students must submit a thank‑you note, sign and return the photo release form, provide a photo of themselves in their agricultural field, and complete all required award information.
