Welcome to the

National Society Descendants of American Farmers

Agricultural Scholarship - Online Application Submission

The American Farmer – 1776-1914 – has played a huge role in the success of America.  NSDOAF honors each ancestor for their unlimited contributions in making our country the breadbasket of the world.

The National Society Descendants of American Farmers Agricultural Scholarship is available to college students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate level agriculture related degree. Scholarship awards may be as high as $5000 and may require a virtual interview.  If selected as a recipient, our scholarship awards are mailed directly to your academic institution to be placed in your student financial account.  Our awards are restricted and can only be used for expenses such as tuition and fees, room and board, and other expenses as allowed by your institution.  Award checks are never mailed directly to the scholarship recipient.  Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate gap years or special requests to delay the awarding of a scholarship.  In addition, a recipient must be enrolled as a student at their academic institution for the scholarship to be issued.

DIRECTIONS: Application Deadlines:  December 1 for Spring semester and July 1 for Fall semester. Do not mail this application. Please fill out the online application cover sheet below, then click the Next button to continue.  Remember to upload the required scholarship packet documents with submission. Information on what documentation is required will be provided on the next page.   If you have questions or need assistance, please contact us at: (972) -743-5406

Applicants must have completed some sophomore credits or higher level standing in an agriculture related degree program at an accredited college or university in the United States.
