The New York City Area will have a fun gathering on Dec. 7 at noon. Where? The Dyckman Farmhouse, a New York City landmark located at 4881 Broadway @ 204th Street, New York City. The Dutch home originally founded in the 1660’s, rebuilt in 1748, ravaged in the Revolutionary War, and rebuilt again around 1785. Porches were added in 1825. We are planning to go on a self-guided tour this day as It is open to the public on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
It is a wonder that this place still stands about the hustle and bustle of city life! It helps one imagine that NYC once was a rural area! What a step back in time!
If you will be in the area, let me know a month in advance so I can arrange a private tour. The cost will be divided amongst the attendees. Joan Nathan, Ambassador NYC area, email@example.com
